Lesson 1
What is the difference between an idea and a main idea?
Explain that key ideas are those that hold up the main idea. They are the evidence that it rests on.

Watch the videos in the sidebar.

List all the ideas presented in the video. Label them as key, main, or other.

Lesson 2
What does it mean to draw a conclusion?
Explain that it means taking several things (information, knowledge, etc.) and using it to decide something is true or to come up with a new idea.

Watch the videos in the sidebar.

Go through the list from the previous lesson and see what conclusions you can draw.
