Next Generation Science Standards Assessment Questions

Question are grouped by standard and they are open ended. There are only 1 or 2 questions per standard.
I recommend letting students use their science journals, the CER discussion guide, and sentence starters to write their responses. I also recommend encouraging students to draw labeled diagrams. The goals is to have very short assessments that students can only complete if they have truly independently mastered the content while also making sure students understand that information is not a secret. They may access any information they want, they just need to show that they understand the information and can apply it.
