Focus On the Solution, Not the Problem
1. Life is Not Fair
Think to yourself:
What does life is not fair mean?
What evidence is there that this is true?
2. Videos 1 and 2
Many people get stuck by the fact that life is not fair: that there is a bad thing, or a problem that they face. This is understandable. Some problems are huge and feel impossible, or nearly impossible to solve. Other problems are frustrating and minor. Some are in between. The key to making your life better is to not just get stuck feeling bad about how the problem exists, and instead to focus on solving the problem.
Think to yourself: How have these people focused not on their problems, but on the solution?

Think about some adults that you know in real life that you respect. How do they deal with issues like not getting the food they want, making a mistake, or having to do a chore?
Think to yourself about these questions:
What does it look like when someone reacts to a hard time in a way that shows they are in control of themselves? How can you tell? How does this make them feel about themself?
